Terms of Service
Version 2026-07-26
These terms form an agreement between you and Kwenta CV ("we", "us"), trading as Kwenta CV. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
1. What the service is
Kwenta CV is a software tool that uses artificial intelligence to rewrite career documents you supply. We produce drafts. We do not verify your qualifications, we do not submit applications for you, and we do not place candidates with employers.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the assistance of a parent or guardian, to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your login details secure.
3. Access options and billing
- Standard — R99 per week. For the job seeker who needs a CV that gets past the screening software.
- Pro — R179 per week. Everything in Standard, plus a tailored cover letter for every application.
We offer one access period: a weekly membership. Your card is charged on the same day each week until you cancel. Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where we are registered for it. We may change prices on 20 business days' notice; the new price applies from your next billing date and you may cancel before then.
Fair use: memberships are for one individual job seeker's own documents. Reselling access, sharing your account, or automated bulk generation is not permitted and we may suspend accounts that do so.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid week and you keep access until then. Because the service is digital content that is generated on demand, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that generated documents cannot be "returned". See our cancellations and refunds policy for how we handle faults and disputes.
5. Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of the CV information you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process it in order to produce your documents. Subject to payment, the polished documents we generate are yours to use. You warrant that the information you upload is true and that you are entitled to share it.
Intellectual property in the generated text of your documents passes to you once payment for the relevant access period has been received. We keep ownership of the service itself, our templates, prompts, scoring method and all underlying software. Because AI models produce text from learned patterns, we cannot warrant that any generated wording is unique to you, and similar phrasing may be produced for other users.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Kwenta CV to:
- create documents containing qualifications, employment or credentials you do not hold;
- upload another person's personal information without their consent;
- upload unlawful, defamatory or malicious content;
- attempt to break, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
Misrepresenting your qualifications to an employer may be a criminal offence in South Africa. You alone carry that responsibility.
7. No guarantee of outcome
We do not promise interviews, job offers, employment, salary outcomes, or that any applicant tracking system will accept or rank your CV in a particular way. ATS scores shown in the product are our own estimate and are not issued or endorsed by any employer or software vendor.
8. AI output and your responsibility to check
Documents are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions or misinterpretations of what you supplied. You must read and verify every document before you send it to anyone. By using the service you accept that final responsibility for the accuracy of your CV rests with you.
All AI-generated output is supplied "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, originality, fitness for a particular purpose, or suitability for any specific employer, vacancy or applicant tracking system. AI systems can state things that are wrong or invented ("hallucinations"); checking every fact, date and figure before you send a document is your responsibility. Nothing in this clause limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Fair use limits. Every access period carries a daily limit on the number of documents that can be generated, so that the service stays affordable and is protected against automated abuse. We may suspend accounts that share logins, resell output or use the service beyond reasonable personal use.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, or where a third-party AI provider is unavailable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, and except for loss caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of employment, income or opportunity. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the membership fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the CPA.
11. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims arising from information you supplied being false or misleading, or from your use of generated documents in breach of these terms.
12. Changes, disputes and contact
We may update these terms and will show the new version date on this page. Material changes will be communicated by email. Disputes should first be raised with us at sahilkalicharan@gmail.com so we can try to resolve them. You may also refer a complaint to the National Consumer Commission. These terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
